Linguista, traduttore e lettore. Nato e cresciuto in montagna, ha scelto come “suo” spazio città di mare, tra cui Trieste, Venezia e Helsinki, per poi ritornare a Venezia dove tutt’ora vive. Pubblica scritti sull’interconnessione tra lingua, identità e la poliedricità della parola che si muove in contesti diversi creando linguaggi che ci determinano e che noi definiamo.

Linguist, translator and reader. Born and raised in the mountains, he chose the sea and its cities as ‘his’ space, including Trieste, Venice and Helsinki, before returning to Venice where he still lives. Elias publishes writings on the interconnection between language, identity, and the multifacetedness of the word that creates different contexts by shaping language that determines us and that we define.
